The Emerson Row Dollhouse Day 7

The roof has dried overnight, so I can finish gluing the center roof panel. I painted the edges of the gables because they will be visible inside the dollhouse. I could have covered them with wallpaper, but since I wallpapered before assembling the roof, I couldn't predict which edges would be exposed. You will need the rubber mallet again.

To secure the center roof, place the dollhouse right side up, but it’s easier to fit the flat roof supports into the front roof if you turn the dollhouse upside down and tap them in. After clamping everything, I went to the front of the dollhouse and filled all the gaps on the gables with spackle. I painted them again and installed the window trim along with the gable gingerbread.

Once everything dried, I unclamped the roof. Now, this dollhouse is starting to look like a real dollhouse.
