This installation is very easy to do but you might still experience some issues with your staircase. One of the main issues that seems to effect this dollhouse is that the staircase tends to not sit straight once installed. Everything lines up, nothing is out of place and all tabs are in there slots but something is causing the staircase to still appear slightly slanted, in some areas.
The best way to handle this, once all assembly issues have been cleared as the problem, is to use camouflage to make it look straight. Paint is the best way to do it. If you paint your staircases bottom riser, slightly upwards from the floor, in the same color as your flooring, it make the staircase look straight. You can also laminate risers and paint them to create an optical illusion of straightness, using siding strips that came with the dollhouse.
Once you have everything straightened out, literally, you can go ahead and apply the rest of the railings and trim to your staircase.
Keep In Mind
If you have a gap between the staircase and wall, when viewing from the back of the staircase, use strip wood to hide it.
Make sure that you touch up and fix any issues with both your first floor and second floor staircase now since this area will become inaccessible once your windows are up.
