Once the staircase dried overnight, it was time to install it, and fortunately, it fit perfectly without any issues. I clamped it tightly against the wall and floor.
Before installation, I created a fabric runner for the staircase. I glued it on with tacky glue and applied a bit more glue along both side edges to prevent fraying in the future. The railing was added last.
Assembling the second-floor staircase railing was more challenging. The instructions were not very helpful, but here’s how I managed - First, I took pieces F and M to frame the stairwell hole. Then, I laminated two G pieces with one P piece to create a thick post, making two posts this way. Next, I laminated an I piece on top of an H piece to create post caps or finials, making two of these as well. I glued the smaller railing on top of piece F, which framed the stairwell hole, with one side against the wall. Then, I attached one of the posts on the other side of the railing, resting it on top of the stairwell frame. After that, I glued the long railing against the post and on top of piece M that framed the stairwell. I attached the last post to the other end of the long railing. Next, I glued on the first-floor railing and attached the handrail to it. Finally, I placed the other F piece on top of the small railing to complete its handrail.
The final handrail for the long second-floor railing is supposedly piece L, but it's shorter than expected and doesn’t fit. It seems there may be a labeling error in the schematics or possibly a mistake in cutting. I've double-checked everything against the instructions, and piece L is definitely meant for this railing. For now, I’ll keep this piece in case I find another mislabeled part later. If I finish the dollhouse without noticing any mistakes, I'll have to make my own handrail for this section since this one won't work.
