After wallpapering, it's time to install the staircase, which will face the front of the dollhouse once all walls are in place. This positioning means it won't be visible from the back unless you hinge the front door.
Begin by attaching the left stringer with a slot to the wall with the oval window. There's no need to stain the stringers as they won't be visible. Once the glue is dry, add the stained risers. The laser-cut edges ensure a flush fit, preventing the risers from tipping over.
Next, glue the other stringer to the opposite wall on the kitchen side. When the glue is dry, join both walls together, ensuring all edges are tightly aligned. Straighten the risers and clamp the assembly. Finally, stain and glue the steps to the risers and stringers. Although the space is narrow, you should be able to place them without much difficulty. Clamp everything and allow it to dry completely. The finished assembly, when stood upright, will show how the staircase looks in relation to the different rooms of the dollhouse.
