The Rosedale Dollhouse Day 2

When building a dollhouse, the staircase is the critical first component that must be carefully installed between two walls. This initial step is crucial, as an incorrect placement will prevent further assembly. Wallpapering the staircase walls is a delicate process that must be completed before inserting floors. Once floors are in place, accessing these areas becomes impossible. Carefully label each wall section to ensure proper wallpaper placement for each room, paying special attention to walls that span multiple floors.

Begin by priming the wall pieces, being mindful of areas that will remain visible or require staining. Some sections will need to be left unpainted to allow for wood stain on the staircase railing.

Take time to position the walls as they will appear in the final assembly, using pencil marks to identify each room's location. The wall placement is particularly complex, as some walls will face multiple rooms. Carefully study the instructions and reference images to ensure accurate wallpaper placement. A mistake here can result in rooms being incorrectly oriented, which would require complete disassembly to correct. Precision is paramount. Improper wall or staircase positioning can lead to structural issues, potentially creating an inverted or unusable dollhouse. Take your time, double-check every step, and proceed with careful attention to detail.
