The Pierce Dollhouse Day 4

I continued working on the dollhouse project, focusing on various stages of construction and finishing. I started assembling the tower and bay sections. In the attic, I wallpapered the walls, noting the massive roof with its many slants. I plan to use a combination of light gray paint and wallpaper as I did not have enough wallpaper to do every wall. To ensure complete coverage, I carefully wallpapered the interior of each roof section before assembly.

On the first floor, I installed baseboards and doors. I recommend applying ceiling and flooring trims progressively, as some areas become inaccessible once the dollhouse is fully assembled. I applied the first coat of paint on the exterior, which revealed several gaps. I will seal these with spackle, sand the surface, and then apply a second coat. On the first floor, I sanded and applied a second coat of varnish, resulting in a noticeable glossy finish.
