The Orchid Dollhouse Day 3

I continued building components so they will be ready to attach to the dollhouse when the time comes. I painted and glued the foundation trim, focusing only on the sides since I haven't attached the porch yet. I left the front pieces for later. One of the trims is slightly narrower than the other, but it won't be noticeable once they're glued in place. I also painted the porch posts.

I plan to paint all the trim of the dollhouse. I sanded and prepared these parts for painting, but they are fragile, so handle them carefully. If you do break one, don’t worry; they can be easily fixed with tacky glue and a clamp. Binder clips work well for repairs.

I glued the second floor partition in place. The kit includes many roof finial pieces, but you only need five. I set aside the extras in case I can use them for a future dollhouse.
