After painting as many parts as I could identify, I started assembling the shell. The back wall consists of two pieces that must fit together tightly, flush, and flat. I recommend using binder clips to keep the edges aligned. As usual, I used tacky glue for assembly and then applied wood glue to all the joints.
Be cautious with wood glue along the bottom joints of the dollhouse, as this area is where the drawers will go, and you don’t want anything to interfere with their movement. Therefore, only use tacky glue on the underside of the dollhouse and avoid adding extra glue along the joints.
I assembled the right and left walls and then paused. Make sure to clamp everything securely with masking tape and allow it to dry before proceeding.
