The McKinley Dollhouse Week 3

I painted some of the parts of the dollhouse today, just to make them easier to identify later. This is one of the advantages of being able to remove all parts from the sheets. It allows you to prepare them ahead of time, before the assembly calls for them. This saves time later on.

Remember all parts of a dollhouse must be finished before they are installed onto the assembly. Window parts must be painted on all sides to prevent raw wood from peeking through the window glass. You will not be able to repair this later. Large parts like the lattice and roof trim will have to be sanded after the first coat of paint and then touched up for a smoother finish.
