The McKinley Dollhouse Week 3

I painted some parts of the dollhouse today to make them easier to identify later. One advantage of being able to remove all parts from the sheets is that it allows for preparation before assembly, saving time in the long run.

It's important to finish all parts of the dollhouse before installing them. Window parts need to be painted on all sides to prevent raw wood from showing through the glass, as this cannot be fixed later. Large pieces, like the lattice and roof trim, should be sanded after the first coat of paint and then touched up for a smoother finish.
