The McKinley Dollhouse Week 2

I spent a considerable amount of time sanding and preparing the kit. As with all my kits, I removed the parts from the sheets and sanded them on all sides. If you're new to dollhouse assembly, it's important not to remove any parts until instructed. You need to be familiar with the assembly process before taking parts out, which is something I have experience with. I can recognize most of the parts by their appearance, but for less obvious pieces like staircase treads and risers, I label them with a pencil for easier identification later. You don’t need to write the full name; just note the sheet number they came from, and you can use the schematics for reference.

Keep all the parts in the box to avoid losing them, and cut out the photo of the dollhouse from the box lid for reference during assembly. Remember, the instructions may have few or no photos of the dollhouse itself.
