Now that the kitchen bay side of the dollhouse is complete, I can focus on the back.
Although the dollhouse will be against a wall, it's important not to leave the backside unfinished. The back requires a lot of sanding and filling in of gaps. The kit includes two trim pieces to cover the openings meant for hanging the dollhouse on the wall. I used felt pads to temporarily cover the electrical holes I created, in case I decide to add lighting later.
Inside, I added a valance to the kitchen bay windows.
