I focused on preparing the porch and tower areas for construction. The porch floor needed to be installed before I could proceed with the tower walls. While I hadn't completed all the porch details, I knew I could finish them later without much difficulty. Fortunately, I had already completed the porch railings, which was an important preliminary step.
Similar to my approach with the kitchen bay, I prepared the tower's exterior openings, ensuring the edges would look neat when viewed through the windows. I also applied ceiling paper to the tower ceilings and installed the second floor tower floor extension, which was necessary for future flooring work. My primary goal was to progress the project efficiently, setting up the foundational elements to enable subsequent construction stages.
