I wanted to create doors for the bathroom and bedroom because I didn't like having just openings. I used 1/8" thick balsa wood to cut out doors for both spaces. To make the doors more interesting, I decided to panel them with thin strips of wood. I eyeballed the designs and placed the doors side by side to ensure they matched.
After that, I painted them white and dry-fitted them into the openings. I added trim to the bathroom door since the flooring is completed there, but I can't finish the trim in the hallway and bedroom until their flooring is done. I used my own strip wood for the trim instead of the dollhouse kits, as it fits better on these custom doors.
In the bedroom, I wallpapered the walls, added flooring, and installed trim. Similar to what I did in the kitchen, I put trim on the sides of the tower opening and will add fabric ribbon to the top.
