I'm now focusing on constructing the stairwell in my dollhouse project, which requires careful and precise work.
I started by assembling the two stairwell walls separately, away from the main structure, to make wallpapering easier. I marked the wall joint locations using the floor slots as a guide and primed those areas.
After wallpapering the stairwell walls with a matching pattern, I prepared the first floor staircase and its opening, knowing this would be my final opportunity to do so. I then carefully installed the pre-assembled and wallpapered walls, ensuring everything aligned correctly and using clamps to secure them.
Next, I installed the second floor staircase, slightly deviating from the instructions by placing it before the third floor. The installation was surprisingly straightforward, with the staircase fitting into place without much pressure. I made sure to clamp it securely. The resulting winding staircase beautifully connects two floors.
Installing the third floor was challenging and required precise tapping and alignment, followed by thorough clamping. While that section dried overnight, I completed additional tasks like installing the 'Living/Dining Room' partition, the 'Dining/Kitchen' door, and wallpapering the bedroom and kitchen side walls.
