The Emerson Row Dollhouse Day 10

I added trim to all the floors and ceilings of the dollhouse. Instead of my usual method of using skewers for the ceilings and skinny sticks for baseboards, I used skewers for all the trim. To cover the gaps at the top of both gable roofs, I used two wooden caps. I purchased basswood strips to finish the back edges of the dollhouse and also trimmed the exposed gable angles in the attic.

For the window treatments, I made curtain valances from lace ribbon and decorated them with fabric bows on the sides. I upholstered the window seats with fabric and narrow lace, using the same fabric bows to embellish each seat. I found some extra trees and added them to the lawn of the dollhouse.
