Today, I worked on the decorative half-timber trim adorning the top of the side wall gables. I also added trim to the back edges of each side wall to ensure a polished siding finish.
I installed the exterior trim for the round second-floor windows, being careful to leave the interior trim and window panes for later. This precaution prevents potential damage during roof installation.
I mounted the bay roofs over the siding for a cleaner appearance. I covered the wall slots with siding and removed the unnecessary roof tabs that would have connected to the main walls. The bay walls have their own tabs that fit into the roof slots, making the main wall tabs redundant.
I completed the bay roof trim installation. While I initially considered adding a decorative finish like shingling to the bay walls, the limited space made this impractical. I plan to apply such a finish to the front, main dollhouse wall instead.
