I went ahead and painted my siding today. Siding can be painted before or after installation. It's up the you which one you want to do. For this dollhouse I painted it after installation and I used hot melt glue, in the low setting, as the adhesive. This siding is not going to be holding up any components so hot melt glue works fine for it.
