Today, I installed all the baseboards using basswood strips from my local craft store's wood crafts section. I chose the narrowest strips to match the scale of the dollhouse.
I also trimmed the bay window openings. Although the dollhouse comes with trim for these openings, it was too narrow for my taste, so I decided to make my own. The difference that interior trim makes is already noticeable. Even if you opt for simple trim like mine instead of more expensive miniature molding, it's definitely worth it. Skipping this step would not be advisable.
