Remember, these half scale versions are assembled in the same way the one inch scale models are so you can use this assembly blog to build the one inch scale version of this dollhouse.
These half scale, laser cut, re-released dollhouse kits do not come in a box but rather in a plastic wrap, along with the instructions. Because of this, you will not have a kit box photo as a visual guide but you can still view detailed photos of this assembled dollhouse here: http://shop.greenleafdollhouses.com/ZoomImageEx.aspx….
I plan on using the color scheme of The Shadow Cliff Queen Anne by Lawbre Dollhouse, pictured below.
Today I checked my kit to make sure I had all of the sheets. Everything was complete so I labeled and punched out all of my pieces.
As you can see some of these pieces have very delicate, filigreed, laser word work, so you have to be careful you don't damage them when you punch them out. Just punch out gently and evenly on all sides. Use the eraser tip of a pencil to help you out with the smaller and thinner pieces.
You can also see that with this being a laser cut dollhouse, the edges are quite dark and some of the back sides are blotchy. This is why I recommend using a darker stain or paint for your interior trim work. You can try and sand all of these dark edges off of your pieces but I wouldn't recommend it. It will take a lot of sanding to get this completely off and this will alter the shape of your pieces and compromise their fit during assembly. These pieces are small and detailed, you don't want to sand all of that into oblivion. It will also be extremely difficult if not impossible for you to sand between the filigreed pieces without breaking them.
So, don't insist on going light, just use dark stain or paint your trim.
