You can see how moldings enhance the dollhouse by concealing the joints and giving the interior a polished appearance. The moldings create a seamless look for the partitions, making them appear as if they have always been part of the structure. I chose to use the same size moldings to frame the entire room, including along the back edge of the partition.
Additionally, take note of the moldings around the windows. This dollhouse originally lacked interior trim, but now every window will have it. This not only adds detail but also makes it easier to install window treatments. They can be attached to the moldings instead of the wallpaper, allowing for easier removal in the future without damaging the wallpaper.
