Before I move on to the attic of the dollhouse, I need to finish adding molding to the first and second floors. As I complete the trim around each window, I reattached the original window treatments that came with the dollhouse. They are just fabric trims, but they are in good condition and can be reused.
I also started adding the back edge trim to the entire back of the dollhouse. No dollhouse is complete without this trim, and this one didn’t have any. The back edge trim gives a dollhouse a polished look, making it essential. Use masking tape to secure the back edge trim, but make sure to attach the tape to the baseboards and ceiling trims. Avoid sticking tape directly on the wallpaper, as it could get damaged. For this reason, always keep scraps of wallpaper handy for repairs when needed.
