While working on the dollhouse, I started by trimming the main room. Near the bay wall, I cut off a protruding tab, sanded it smooth, and covered it with wallpaper. This process can be done easily, and the wallpaper paste will not compromise the structure's integrity.
I completed assembling the flower box and proceeded to glue the front roof parts. To ensure proper fitting, I removed a small piece of trim. The roof pieces interlock, so it's crucial to carefully follow the instructions and dry fit them first to determine the best placement. Before gluing, I recommend painting the roof edges and overhangs, as accessing these areas becomes difficult afterward. I clamped the pieces until they dried.
Inside, I first primed the walls and finished the ceiling. I also trimmed and sanded any protruding tabs flush with the wall. Wallpapering bay areas can be challenging, especially when inserting them into the dollhouse. The structure has some ceiling slants visible through the walls, which can be concealed by painting them in a complementary color, matching the interior trim, or applying fabric trim. My plan is to trim these areas with thin sticks and then apply wallpaper to the exposed sections. It's important not to wrap the wall's wallpaper around these areas, as this will disrupt the pattern and cause creasing. Instead, these sections should be handled separately.
