My left side panel is a bit warped, but it opens and closes perfectly. I finished the trim while the panel was hinged to ensure it matched the larger right panel. The white middle trim lines up nicely when the panels are closed.
I added decorative squares to the front of the dollhouse, similar to those on my real house. I made them from leftover trim and painted them white. I glued them evenly across the large panel and will work on the smaller panel later.
I painted the roof brown in preparation for shingling. Since the roof doesn't have complicated angles, I won't use shingle templates; it should be easy to shingle. I plan to make the shingles dark brown, so this coat of paint will help hide any raw wood between them.
