The Half Scale Chantilly Dollhouse Day 7

While working on the dollhouse, I focused on completing the ground floor and first floor before moving upward. It's crucial to finish all details on these levels before installing the roof, front door, and windows, as access will become limited afterward.

I installed the interior doors during this stage, taking advantage of being able to reach them from all angles. The laser-cut dollhouse doors are particularly convenient, requiring minimal sanding to fit perfectly. I had to make a slight modification to one door trim, cutting it at an angle to accommodate the extra trim I added near the staircase.

The staircase railing was completed, with a slight adjustment to the second-floor front railing. Instead of using the wall tab as designed, I positioned the railing flush against the wall to prevent potential damage to the wallpaper. Numerous touch-ups were necessary to prepare for the next phase of construction, which involves working on the bay walls.
