Remember, these half scale versions are assembled in the same way the one inch scale models are so you can use this assembly blog to build the one inch scale version of this dollhouse.
These half scale, laser cut, re-released dollhouse kits do not come in a box but rather in a plastic wrap, along with the instructions. Because of this, you will not have a kit box photo as a visual guide but you can still view detailed photos of this assembled dollhouse here.
The parts for this dollhouse are very small and fragile so be careful punching them out of the sheets. You can use the eraser side of a pencil to punch them out with but I have found that using the tips of my fingernails works best, even if it becomes somewhat uncomfortable with time.
Just like with a one inch scale dollhouse, you want to label, in pencil, all of your parts before punching them out and sort them according to components. It will be easier to sort and find an area to store these small parts than it would be with the larger one inch scale parts.
I will have to double check this later but from my preliminary observation, I believe that there is one riser and one step that is missing from the sheets. It's not because they were lost but because they were never included in the die cuts. This laser cut dollhouse differs from the original dollhouse in that the window mullions are part of the actual wood sheet rather than silk screened to the acetate window panes. It's a nice detailed touch but unfortunately one riser and one step were suppose to be in the window punch outs. Since the windows have no punch outs, because of the mullions, the step and riser are now missing. As I proceed with the assembly, I will be able to know the exact missing riser and step or if my quick observation is incorrect.
