I did the upstairs wallpaper easier by painting the gable window sides a complimentary yellow instead of applying wallpaper to them.
Keep in mind that this dollhouse kit does not bring interior trim for all of the windows. You will have to use wood strips if you wish to make your own trim for these areas.
I shingled the dollhouse today. The roof has a decorative bottom edge. I think they are suppose to simulate shingles. You can cover the decoration by applying your shingles over it or you can leave it visible so it looks like eaves.
