I made the wallpapering easier by painting the sides of the gable windows a complementary yellow instead of using wallpaper there. Please note that this dollhouse kit does not include interior trim for all the windows. If you want to add trim to these areas, you'll need to use wood strips.
Today, I also shingled the dollhouse. The roof features a decorative bottom edge that simulates shingles. You can either cover this decoration with your shingles or leave it visible to create an eaves effect.
