The Beacon Hill Dollhouse Day 11

After finishing the bays, significant progress has been made. Each day will bring more advancements since most of the remaining tasks can be completed quickly.

I installed the bottom trims for the bays and glued on the delicate wooden butterfly inlays. These laser-cut decorations are fragile and require careful handling. I painted them with toothpicks and used tacky glue from a metal tip bottle to apply them, ensuring only a small amount came out.

I also added corner trims to the completed corners, which look great against the siding, creating a flush finish. I installed the kitchen bay windows, which I initially thought would be complicated, but thankfully, I managed without any issues. I used the same mallet technique to tap them in, being careful not to overdo it.

Inside, I decided to lay the kitchen shelf flat under the window to save space. I installed the kitchen window and am adding shutters as I go to avoid returning to that task later. I also added arch decorations to the interior bay ceiling, which are still wet with glue, and glued on the porch arches.

Finally, I attached the back trim for the second floor since the entire first floor is wallpapered.
