The Arthur Dollhouse Day 4

Today, I made several touch-ups to the dollhouse and added lace curtains to the windows. I covered the back edges with thin sticks for a more polished appearance. I also installed baseboards and glued on all the roof finials. Additionally, I used wooden skewers to trim the ceilings, gables, and vertical wall joints.

I really like how the interior woodwork looks in this dollhouse, which is common for many small cottages. For the second floor, especially if you plan to wallpaper before assembly, it's important to cover all joints to avoid rough wallpaper edges. Extensive trimming is essential in dollhouse assembly; it enhances aesthetics and contributes to the structure's stability and durability.
