The Washington 2.0 Dollhouse Day 6

Today, I made sure to stencil everything on the first floor where the porch will be installed, as I won't be able to reach that area once the porch is up. I stained the railing and the porch posts, and I also stenciled the posts. This porch can be a bit tricky. I recommend installing the railing first, followed by the posts. The posts are essential for aligning the porch roof, and it may take some adjustments to ensure everything is straight. I encountered a problem with the back corner, but everything lined up well in the front.

To center the middle porch posts between the railings, count the openings. When you have an equal number of openings on each side of the post, you've found the center. The side railing has 11 openings, so I placed the middle post with 5 openings on each side, effectively covering one extra opening with the post. The same method applies to the front. Keep in mind that this will not dry quickly. It's best to leave it overnight because some pressure points will need until tomorrow to dry enough for you to remove the clamps.
