Partitions
When adding ceiling and wall coverings to your dollhouse, installing floor partitions is crucial. These partitions allow you to create custom interior spaces. The key is to ensure they are perfectly straight and level, measuring carefully to maintain equal spacing from the back to the front of the room. Attach the partitions to the front wall and ceiling using glue, but avoid applying adhesive to the floor to prevent finish damage.
Painting
For exterior walls, apply one coat of paint and allow it to dry. Instead of traditional sandpaper, use a crumpled brown paper bag to smooth the walls gently. This method prevents damage to the pre-milled siding details while creating a smooth surface. After sanding, apply a second coat of paint.
Porch Floor
Install the porch floor over the foundation, ensuring it is flush with the side walls. Since this floor does not support structural elements, no nails are required.
