The Rosedale Dollhouse Revisited Day 6

Today, I installed the third floor of the dollhouse, which requires careful alignment. Using a mallet is essential for properly positioning the floor, as it must precisely connect with the entire structure. The success of this step depends entirely on how accurately you assembled the initial shell. Proper alignment is critical - all floor slots must match the wall tabs exactly. Any misalignment in the base structure will create significant challenges during installation. Take care with your initial shell construction, as it will impact future assembly steps.

After the floor was in place and dried, I primed both the walls and floor of the new rooms, following the same process I used for the first floor's rooms. I also painted the ceilings. When painting ceilings without a covering, remember to sand down any protruding floor tabs, fill them with spackle, and then repaint.

Once everything was dry, I applied the wallpaper. The green wallpaper is exceptional - it has a perfect thickness and feels almost like vinyl, which makes cleaning extremely easy. The pattern and quality are so good that it might even be standard wallpaper rather than a miniature version.

I applied the ceiling trim to the first-floor rooms by turning the dollhouse upside down, ensuring a precise installation.
