I painted the ceiling for the third floor, let it dry, and then installed it on the dollhouse. I drilled holes in the top corners of every room on the first and second floors, as shown in the photo where I circled them. These holes are for running wires if I decide to add LED lighting strips later. I’ll drill holes for the third floor once I figure out how to run the lighting there after the roof is installed. For now, I’ll focus on finishing the first and second floors.
I wallpapered the staircase wall in the living room. Choosing wallpaper patterns carefully is important because they affect how the dollhouse layout looks. I matched the wallpaper on the living room staircase wall to the second-floor hallway and walkway area. This creates the illusion that the staircase continues upward and connects to the hallway, adding depth to the floorplan.
