The McKinley Dollhouse Week 18

I assembled and installed the bathroom closet, painting it white and adding a raised stencil design, similar to what I did for the fireplace. I mistakenly put the ceiling and floor trim in place before installing the closet, which created a challenge. To make it fit over the trim, I had to notch the corners of the closet. Afterward, I added trim around it at the ceiling and floor to create a seamless look. While it was an easy fix, it's always better to avoid such adjustments if possible.

Initially, I was hesitant to use this large closet because it felt out of scale, but I didn’t want to alter the dollhouse's integrity. Since this piece is part of the dollhouse's architectural detail, I decided to keep it. To avoid making it the focal point of the room, I installed it on a side wall instead of the front wall, allowing the bathtub to take center stage.
