I finished touching up the dollhouse and then visited the dollar store, where I found some great landscaping items. I decided to use large moss rocks around the dollhouse. I also picked up tall grasses for the side wall and flowers for the flower boxes. Although the flowers are larger than what is typically used for one-inch scale dollhouses, I liked the colors and decided it didn't matter since the dollhouse is for me. A good way to secure flowers in the boxes is to place cotton inside and then stick the flowers into the cotton with glue. This keeps the flowers in place while allowing you to remove them later if you want to change the exterior decor.
