I am very excited to have finished the secret room in the dollhouse. I installed the doorknobs on the interior of the French doors and continued the floor planks in the same direction as the rest of the dollhouse. While some people prefer different directions for floor planks in various rooms, I chose to keep them consistent.
This dollhouse has many nooks and crannies, so it's important to finish them all properly. I used a mirror in the secret room to ensure I didn't miss any areas.
I want to mention the second-floor staircase again. If you wallpaper your dollhouse and want to avoid staining the entire staircase, consider using cardboard or thin wood as a backing. This way, you can wallpaper the back instead of leaving it exposed.
Now I need to focus on touch-ups, especially along the thatched roof, to make sure every inch looks good. I also have some paint touch-ups to do and want to buy flowers for the flower boxes.
