The Harrison Dollhouse Day 23

I installed all the interior window trim in the first room of the dollhouse kit, which includes a lot of interior and exterior trim. It can be confusing because many pieces look similar. When I punched out the parts, I labeled the window trim, but this turned out to be unhelpful since everything needs to be painted before installation. The best way to avoid confusion is to dry fit each piece to its corresponding window; the size of each piece will indicate where it belongs.

Next, I worked on the upstairs "bedroom," which is next to the small "bathroom" I finished earlier. I nearly completed the flooring but ran out of material. However, I did manage to install the stairwell railing and window trim.

A surprising detail about this kit is that it doesn't include door trim, so I'll need to use basswood strips to create my own for a polished look. I also installed the door to the "secret room" because it needed to be in place for me to lay the flooring. Since these doors are not functional, I decided to install them before finishing the floors.
