The Harrison Dollhouse Day 19

I installed all the gingerbread trim and exterior doors today, and I also finished the roof edges, including the opening panel. I need to buy more doorknobs since I only had enough for the balcony doors. Now that I see the dollhouse coming together, I'm very pleased with the wall color. I'm glad I chose it over stark white, as it creates a nice contrast with the pebbles. On the Aster Cottage Dollhouse, I used "mortar" between the pebbles, but for this dollhouse, I like how they look without it, so I decided to leave them as they are.

I'm preparing to start on the interior of the dollhouse, which has several partitions, two of which are movable. I've decided to leave them all out to create more decorating space. This dollhouse is large and has plenty of rooms, so I don't want to clutter it with extra walls. The partition I like least is the one that runs perpendicular to the first-floor staircase and blocks the front door. Although it's not one of the movable partitions, I found it unnecessary and chose to omit it from my dollhouse. I really enjoy how the dollhouse looks without any partitions. It's important for you to decide which partitions you want to keep or remove before starting on the interior.

I need to order more stucco for the dollhouse before I can begin on the interior, so I'll continue as soon as the materials arrive.
