Early in the morning, I began assembling the dollhouse, and initially, the process was challenging. The walls were particularly tricky to position, as each wall I placed would cause another to topple over. The complex design of the dollhouse made clamping difficult. To solve this, I used hot glue to temporarily hold the walls in place, allowing the wood glue time to dry properly.
Surprisingly, the winding staircase, which initially seemed intimidating, was remarkably straightforward to construct. In fact, it was one of the easiest staircases I've ever assembled. I recommend wallpapering the stairwell before installing the staircase if you plan to do so. However, I chose to leave the stairwell unpapered, aiming for an interior finish that combines minimal wallpaper with extensive stained wood. I plan to stain the entire staircase. For those considering multiple colors, it's crucial to paint the stairs before assembly.
I also installed the fireplace and bookcase, which will be stained to match the overall aesthetic of the dollhouse.
