The Garfield Dollhouse Day 21

I assembled the chimney, which is ready but can't be installed yet. At least it will be waiting for me when I'm ready. I covered the bottom with brick-printed paper and used a mix of spackle and paint to create a textured trim that I glued on top.

I also fixed the attic door of the gazebo. I removed the old doorknob and attached a handle that matches the screen door. I trimmed the top part and touched up the attic wall where I glued the railings yesterday; the glue has dried on all the areas I worked on. I decided to glue the wood strips that form the “lip” of the removable roof sections, although I don’t plan to make these panels removable.

As for the missing railing caps, I made two out of cardboard to complete the attic railings. I prepared the two removable roof panels by painting them according to their respective rooms and installed the skylight window. However, I can't put these panels in place until I'm finished with the attic. I still need to hang curtains, so for now, they will stay off the dollhouse until the last moment.
