The Fairfield Dollhouse Revisited Week 36

I placed the dollhouse on a foam core covered with "grass" and set it on a metal turntable. I added landscaping with trees and small flowers, using a mix of silk flowers from the craft store and diorama materials.

Initially, I wanted to decorate the dollhouse with all white wire furniture, similar to The Pierce Dollhouse I used to have. However, finding half-scale white wire furniture proved difficult, and the limited options were quite expensive. As a result, I decided to create my own furniture using laser-cut kits from Greenleaf, which I painted white.

Fortunately, I found a half-scale white wire carriage that matched the one I had for The Pierce Dollhouse. This dollhouse has been an extensive project and is still not finished. The next challenge is to create a display case for it, which will take me a few weeks. Stay tuned for updates on that process. Once it’s ready, I will share details about the assembly and optional finishes I chose, along with photos in the gallery.

In the meantime, don’t forget to join the more Minis Dollhouse Group to see what other miniature projects I and our members are working on.
