After careful consideration, I decided to create a balcony door similar to my previous staircase project.
I chose soft balsa wood for easy cutting and used the bathroom door as a precise template. Since the bathroom door matched the width of the tower wall's window opening, I only needed to adjust the bottom to transform it into a doorway. I selected the bathroom door trim for hinging because it provides better support than balsa wood trim. The hinges grip well on the thick balsa wood door, ensuring stability. I then attached the hinged door to the interior of the tower wall opening and plan to add an exterior screen door later.
