Navigating this dollhouse's interior is like solving a complex puzzle. The intricate assembly requires careful planning of finishes, as certain areas become inaccessible once constructed. Even with previous experience assembling this model, the room layout remains challenging and unpredictable.
After carefully orienting myself, I wallpapered the staircase walls, understanding that the staircase itself cannot be installed until these surfaces are completely finished.
In the foyer and kitchen, I applied specialized flooring papers. The foyer features a Victorian tile design that I meticulously scaled down and reprinted to maintain authenticity. For the remaining rooms, I selected a wooden plank flooring paper, also in half scale. Its inherent glossy finish is particularly appealing, eliminating the need for additional varnishing.
