After the porch roof is dry, you can begin installing the exterior corner trim. Real Good Toys Dollhouses does not provide pre-cut trim pieces, so you will need to cut some to size yourself.
This step can be confusing. In some photos, the trim along the side of the porch roof is cut to fit underneath it, while in other photos, it appears the trim is inserted into notches along the roof. The instructions are vague on this point.
I chose to cut the trim, as it didn’t seem to fit properly into the notches. I am not sure why the notches are there, but the final result looks fine. Any small gaps can be addressed later.
