Today, I put together the staircases. Be sure to examine the illustration closely and dry fit the sides to the dollhouse to ensure correct assembly. The back edges of the staircase sides should be glued to the steps and risers. Avoid gluing between the staircase sides, as this will make the staircase too wide for the stairwell.
If you plan to paint your staircase in two colors, do so before assembly. I intend to paint mine one color and then add carpet, so I was able to assemble everything now and will finish it later.
The staircases fit into the dollhouse easily after assembly, but make sure to complete them before placing them in position, or accessing them will be difficult.
