I completed the chimney and noticed some gaps that need spackling. I decorated it with a laser-cut wooden bee ornament. The trim around the chimney is also finished, and I used tape rolls as effective clamps to hold everything in place. These need to dry overnight to ensure a secure bond.
The tower roof was surprisingly easy to construct. Like the other components, it requires overnight drying to set the glue properly. With some creative modifications, this roof could become a small hidden room. By leaving the back panel off and adding a thin floor, you could create an intriguing enclosed space accessible by ladder.
I started installing the dormer windows, which initially seemed complex but became more manageable with practice. The process involves painting each piece separately before assembly, then carefully tapping the sills into place with a mallet. I used tape to clamp the window sides from inside the dollhouse.
I've also added filigree roof trim and additional corner trim to the front of the roof. Now, I'm waiting for everything to dry before continuing my work.
