The Sugarplum Cottage Dollhouse Day 3

I found scrapbook paper that has the dark colors and metallic designs I want for the dollhouse. I’m not concerned about the top and bottom of the wallpaper because the bottom will be covered with beadboard, creating a straight line. The top will have ceiling trim made from skewers, which will also form a straight line. My main focus was to apply the wallpaper with minimal patching.

Since the scrapbook paper isn't long enough to cover an entire wall, I had to use two pieces on the front wall, placing the seam over the large window to keep it less visible. I matched the pattern fairly well. After the wallpaper dried completely, I cut out the windows and doors. If you try to do this while it's still wet or humid, you risk tearing the paper.
