The Rosedale Dollhouse Day 11

Today, I completed shingling the mansard roof by creating custom corner trim using basswood strips from my local craft store. Laser-cut speed shingles made the process quick, though developing the pattern required careful painting and matching.

In the attic, I finished wallpapering and applied interior trim, including staircase post caps and two kitchen bay windows. I chose to install interior window sills flat against the walls for better coverage and a more polished appearance, contrary to the original design instructions. To conceal exposed back edges, I used skinny sticks I had on hand.

While working, I was cautious with wallpaper during trim installation. I recommend using blue painter's tape instead of masking tape, which can damage wallpaper if left too long. I completed the baseboard trim inside the dollhouse and performed extensive paint touch-ups, using skewers for the baseboards similar to my ceiling technique.
