Finishing the Bathroom
Unfortunately, I lost all the original photos for this post, so I can only share the finished images.
Half of the work in this bathroom involved installing the faux door. Since the room has a three-sided bay wall, careful planning is needed for wallpapering. I recommend using one continuous piece of wallpaper for the front wall and placing the seam along the bay wall that is not visible.
I applied paper tile flooring in this room using the same method as in the kitchen and foyer. I created a template to guide me in cutting the flooring. I also used a template for the ceiling paper.
Because the basswood used for the faux door is soft, I could easily use a thumbtack to create small holes for adding door knobs. I painted these white door knobs with floral designs.
