I spent a considerable amount of time punching out pieces from the many sheets in this kit. You can recycle the leftover material. There are many pieces, which can be confusing, so it's best to label them before removing any parts unless you have experience. I have assembled many dollhouses like this, so I was able to punch out all the parts without labeling. Now, I have a box full of pieces. Use the kit box to keep your pieces organized and prevent them from getting lost.
The wood for this dollhouse is in good condition, and the die cuts went all the way through. Some pieces did break while I was punching them out, but they can be easily repaired later. I roughly sorted the parts but won't organize them until I've sanded them all down. I plan to spend most of next week doing that.
