The Fairfield Dollhouse Revisited Week 24

Now comes the fun part. just kidding, this is actually the worst part. You will have to do quite a bit of contorting to reach into the dollhouse and fix the areas around the newly place tower wall. These are the key things that must be done:

1. Continue the baseboards and ceiling trim along the new wall. Make sure the corners join the trims of the other walls. This has to be done on the foyer and the hallway. I also trimmed the back edges of the second floor and hallway wall.

2. Finish applying the wallpaper to the hallway long wall and all of the trim. I installed the bathroom door and trimmed it. I finished this door, with the same panel trim as the other interior doors. I did not hinge it because it's not necessary.

3. Once the new wall is applied, the corner joints will have visible seams on the wallpaper, since it could not be folded into the seam. You will have to cut strips of wallpaper, fold it in half and glue it to all of the corners, in order to hide the seams.

You will need long tweezers and a spotlight. It will take patience and though it is very difficult to get to these areas, they are all accessible as long as the front door and tower wall windows are not installed.
